The Light House Education Center is a Christian, co-educational, non-profit, interdenominational private education center. TLH offers classes for children one to five years old in The SON Shine Club, elementary essentials programs for homeschool students in kindergarten through 3rd grade, and university style a la carte classes for students in the 4th through 12th grades.  View schedule.

TLH is on FM 149 between FM 249 and FM 1488.  TLH is 5 miles north of Tomball, 5 miles southeast of Magnolia, 10 miles west of The Woodlands and 10 miles southwest of Conroe.

What is the admissions process for The Light House?
Families who are interested in attending The Light House Education Center are encouraged to contact the school at (281) 356-7259 and schedule an appointment and a tour. What are The Light House's school hours?
TLH opens for classes at 8:30 a.m. and closes at 4:3O p.m. Your child’s schedule will determine his or her hours. The SSC school day is from 8:30am -1:30pm, afternoon extended care is available for SON Shine Club until 2:30pm for $15.00 a day.

Does The Light House offer after school care?
TLH does not offer after school care at this time. An additional charge of $5.00 per 15 minutes. will be added to your monthly invoice for students not picked up by 4:30pm.

Does The Light House offer secondary languages?
The Light House offers Spanish beginning with 6 year olds through the 12th grade.

Are students required to wear a uniform?
Yes. Please check your Student’s Handbook for details.

• Polo any color or pattern

Is transportation provided to The Light House?
No. There is no transportation provided.

Does The Light House offer online computer systems?
Yes! COMING SOON! TLH is proud to announce the purchase of RenWeb for its school computer technology. Renweb provides a complete and integrated solution for school administrators, teachers, parents and students. It provides real time access to the school administrators, teachers, lessons plans, assignments, grades, report cards and much more! RenWeb links are available on the school Website.

Are parents provided an opportunity to be involved?
There are many ways that parents can be involved at TLH including our parent’s group, called “The Navigators,” our mom’s prayer ministry, called “Heart 2 Heart,” fundraising, classroom assistants, special events assistants and administration volunteers.
