What are The Light House's school hours?
TLH opens for classes at 8:30 a.m. and closes at 4:3O p.m. Your child’s schedule will determine his or her hours. The SSC school day is from 8:30am -2:30pm.
Does The Light House offer after school care?
TLH does not offer after school care at this time. An additional charge of $5.00 per 15 minutes. will be added to your monthly invoice for students not picked up by 4:30pm.
Does The Light House offer secondary languages?
The Light House offers Spanish beginning with 6 year olds through the 12th grade.
Are students required to wear a uniform?
Yes. Please check your Student’s Handbook for details.

No. There is no transportation provided.
Does The Light House offer online computer systems?
Yes! The Light House Education Center utilizes the RenWeb school management internet system. Renweb provides a complete and integrated solution for school administrators, teachers, parents and students. It provides real time access to the school administrators, teachers, lessons plans, assignments, grades, report cards and much more! RenWeb links are available on the school Website.
Are parents provided an opportunity to be involved?
There are many ways that parents can be involved at TLH including our parent’s group, called “The Navigators,” our mom’s prayer ministry, called “Heart 2 Heart,” fundraising, classroom assistants, special events assistants and administration volunteers. There are many ways parents can fulfill the required 12 hours of volunteer time per semester, giving parents a chance to choose the volunteer activity that meets their passions and/or skills.
